As I finish up the Preliminary Lessons, I’m planning ahead for recording the Step 1 Lessons. These recordings of the duets are for the 1st Step book. These are for use with your student when the teacher is not available or able to play the teacher portion of the duet. Hopefully your student can play along with the duet and experience the joy of both parts being played together.
I recorded separate parts so you can hear what the student’s part is supposed to sound like. The student is free to listen to the recording of the student’s part, but I don’t recommend the student playing along with the recording of the student’s part.
Mrs. Curwen encourages students to listen and imitate instead of playing the same parts at the same time.
